Why ShellTex?

On a shell scheme stand, the artwork often starts as one design and arrives as a stack of separate panels. Someone then has to put the picture back together on the wall. We developed ShellTex so an exhibitor could hang a whole wall of artwork in one piece, at a price that makes sense for a shell scheme stand.

One wall, one print

Individual panels take time to line up. A photograph or a line of lettering can make even a small gap obvious. With ShellTex the artwork runs across the upright posts on one piece of printed fabric. There are no panel joins along that wall.

Use the frame already on your stand

Some continuous displays require a second frame to be assembled and hung on the shell scheme. ShellTex hooks onto the existing top beam, with elasticated hooks under the bottom rail to tension the print. There’s no adhesive to apply to the venue’s panels or peel off after the show. That also avoids residue that a contractor might charge to remove.

Made to travel between shows

Rigid boards need protection against knocks in transit. Rollable graphic panels can pick up a permanent crease as you manoeuvre them into place. The ShellTex polyester fabric is lightweight and rolls up for transport. Keep the fixings when you change the artwork. At the end of the fabric’s life, check whether your local textile recycler accepts printed polyester.

Designed around the exhibitor’s budget

We wanted a seamless wall to be a practical option even for a small stand. Making use of the shell scheme you’ve already booked saves you buying a separate display frame, and the fixings can be used again with replacement artwork.
